Pasaréti High School was established in 1995 with the permission of the Capital City Council on the basis of the curriculum taylor-made by ELTE University. Pasaréti High School is operated as the training school of ELTE University. The education is organized in four, six and eight-year long curriculum, with 8 to 18 students in each class. Foreign languages are taught in an increased number of lessons. 

The school’s educational work is not only focused on providing students with a strong base in their specialised subjects and preparing them for their finals. We do our best to further their creativity, arouse their interest and teach them to use and take advantage of the latest technologies. We put a special emphasis on teaching modern languages at the highest possible level (English, German, French, Spanish). 

The consistent pedagogical work helps to fulfil and achieve the above mentioned educational aims. Our best students are awarded (Pasaréti Cup, books, diplomas). The school has high but clear and executable requirements for the students, their results and achievements are constantly monitored and our school regularly informs the parents. The continuous and efficient relationship with the parents is considered to be significantly important by the school management.     

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities for our students: regular theatre, opera and museum visits, study groups, workshops to further talented students and to train and help weaker ones, we offer exam preparation courses and sports trainings. Our school regularly organizes inland and foreign trips, educational and sports camps.

Our teachers are motivated, dynamic and highly qualified young teachers with several years of experience with both elementary and high school teaching practice.
